In order to capture the beauty of the night sky, star trail photography is a technique that can be used. This involves taking a series of photos of the stars over a period of time, and then stitching them together to create a long exposure photograph. 

There are a few things that you need to consider when setting up for star trail photography. The first is the ISO. You will want to keep this as low as possible in order to avoid noise in your photograph. The aperture should also be kept as wide open as possible to allow as much light as possible in. The shutter speed will depend on the type of equipment you are using and the amount of light available. 

Ideally, you should start with a shutter speed of 30 seconds. If you are using a DSLR, you can use the Bulb setting to keep the shutter open for as long as you need.
